Very captivating， and complex， but connected story。 For me， I felt like I needed the ending to be more concrete。 With other books that are apart of series， I still feel a sense of closure， but I did not feel the same with this book。 I think it’s worth a read， and I will definitely by reading the next book :）

3。5 I really enjoyed the premise of this book however I feel like we never really learn much about the main character。 There’s a deep dive on many of the other characters personalities but not Avery which is odd I guess。 I know it’s a series but I feel like they dragged the ending。

This is definitely YA， with the requisite ordinary-but-exceptional-girl， love triangle， and a quest。 Here a brilliant orphan gets made the heir to a billionaire stranger。 She has to live on his estate with his 4 handsome grandsons for a year in order to inherit his entire fortune。 It’s a ludicrous premise， but what keeps it compelling is the escape room like puzzles that the billionaire leaves behind for them all to solve。 It would make a cute Disney movie。 （B-）

Honestly this book was not as exciting or interesting as I thought it would be。 The characters were kind of flat and the romance interests felt forced。 The plot was pretty basic and the chapters were predictable。 But hey that’s just my opinion。 The cover is absolutely gorgeous though。
